Becoming all that God wants us to be!
To display the glory of God in this world by being a catalyst for the transformation of people’s lives into the image of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord
works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (NLT 1st)
Helping people make bold crossings from …
Here to There: The society surrounding the church has become increasingly hostile and “foreign.” We must act more like “missionaries” in the world that we live. Rather than just inviting people TO church, we must GO into the world to proclaim Christ. (Matt 9:35-38; Matt 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)
Death to Life: We long to see people come into a life-giving relationship with God through Jesus Christ. While we emphasize holistic engagement with people, eternal life only comes through repentance and embracing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 1:12-13; John 3:3, Titus 3:4-6)
Broken to Whole: People both inside and outside the church have been beaten and wounded by sin. We will be a place of healing and restoration through horizontal relationships with us and vertically with God. (John 10:10; Luke 10:25-37)
Captive to Free: Many people struggle with bondages and darkness of the soul that keeps them from becoming all that God wants them to be. We believe that Truth is what sets us free and that Truth is more than propositional ideas, but is the reality of Jesus Christ. (Eph 6:12; John 14:6; John 8:36)
We pursue becoming more and more like Jesus Christ.
(2 Cor 3:18; 1 Thess 5:23; Rom 8:29; 2 Peter 1:3-4)
We foster personal connections with one another and with God.
(1 Thess 2:8; Rom 15:1-7; 1 Cor 13: Eph 4:1-7; Rom 5:1; 1 John 4:7-21)
We nurture a spiritual environment that is conductive to openness, transparency and truthfulness.
(Rom 12:9; Col 3:9-10; 1 Peter 1:22)
We are committed to ministering to the whole person, mind, body, soul and spirit.
(Luke 10:25-37; Matt 25:31-40;)
We embrace people of all cultures, nationalities, generations, educational backgrounds and social and economic statuses.
(Rev 7:9-10; James 2:1-9; )
